Reduces Inflammation

When you are involved in a car accident, get an X-ray. X-rays are good for bone fractures. Fractures need immediate care. However, they do not show micro-tears in the ligaments and muscles. These are most commonly the injuries that produce the most pain.

These tears in the muscles are the main reason people wake up after a car crash in severe pain wondering what is wrong because their X-rays looked normal.

Dr. Froehlich uses spinal manipulations to realign the spine, helping your body to heal faster.

The non-invasive Spinal manipulations realign the spine and joints, significantly reducing pain and promoting healing without the need for surgery.

Pain relief without the use of drugs

Medical doctors will commonly prescribe anti-inflammatory and pain medication. Most people think that taking these will make them better, and probably do for a short period. However, drugs only mask the symptoms; they don’t always heal the injury.

Many pain relief prescriptions are extremely addictive, thinking that you only have to take them until you are out of pain and stopping is easy. You may not want to stop taking the medication, the withdrawal symptoms may be worse than initial injury.

Chiropractic care offers pain relief without the use of prescription medications. Chiropractic care also addresses the injury at the source of the problem, restoring function and not masking the pain.

 Restores Motion

The soreness and stiffness from a motor vehicle injury can inhibit movement. Dr. Froehlich works with patients to help get them moving again as quickly as possible. When you receive a chiropractic adjustment, it will mobilize your spine, restoring function, decreasing inflammation and allowing the body to begin the natural healing process at a much faster rate.

Chiropractic Reduces Scar Tissue

Your body heals ligament, tendon, and muscle injuries by creating scar tissue. Scar tissue in an injured area is made up of the same kind of cells as the original tissue, but it’s laid down rapidly and randomly as a temporary “patch” on top of the damaged area.

If you get scar tissue in a large muscle, it can be uncomfortable for a while until you stretch it out, but it most likely won’t cause any long-term problems. Scar tissue in the ligaments of your neck or back, however, can be much more debilitating, since we can’t stretch it out ourselves.

Your chiropractor focuses the adjustments on these specific vertebral joints that are fixated, effectively stretching them and breaking up the scar tissue in the joint.
